ABÈLE KILDIR
Abèle Kildir is a non-binary composer and violinist based in Montreal, whose work draws from the intersection of neoclassical, electronic, and ambient music. Inspired by their self-taught background in popular and experimental music and their academic training in electroacoustics and film score composition, they create soundscapes that weave together narrative and emotion through acoustic instruments, live sound processing, and electronic experimentations, all in an accessible and evocative style.

Their artistic sensibility enriches projects for both the screen and the performing arts. Nominated at the T.O. Webfest for Best Soundtrack with Les Météorites (tou.tv, TV5MONDEplus), they also won second prize in the fiction category of SOCAN's Emerging Screen Composers Competition. The musician also composes for their eponymous solo project and for the instrumental post-rock sextet Sauf les drones, of which they are the founder.
